The aim of this course is improve the students’ability to develop and apply in a methodological manner her/his knowledge and skills to a research project within the area of Media Technology.
Upon completion of the course, the student should:

  • be able to find a solution to a research problem in Media technology
  • be able to individually construct and apply relevant assessment methods related to the problem
  • individually be able to analyze and assess the results
  • be able to write a report meeting scientific standards and individually make a presentation of the solution to the problem.

The aim of this course is to offer students knowledge and in depth understanding of advance methods and approaches related to the use of modern data driven analytical approaches and adaptive mechanisms for web­ based big data content sources, as well as semantic technologies for large scale distributed systems.

This course provides you with the knowledge required to understand the foundations of new media formats and enabling technologies, as well as digital tools for media manipulation. As part of this course, you will be introduced to different abstract representations of media, as well as various technologies for creation, persistence, delivery, and playback of all media types. The knowledge and experience gained during in this course will be useful in different situations that involve the development and maintenance of Internet infrastructure for media distribution.

This course discusses those aspects related to conceptual frameworks and methodologies used for the design and development of ubiquitous and tangible user interfaces. Furthermore, during this course you will learn how to develop and deploy tangible interfaces using high-level prototyping platforms that involve physical computing. The knowledge acquired throughout this course will enable you to understand various design perspectives and the possible specificities of these new types of user interfaces

In this course, you will gain knowledge that will enable you to understand, discuss and explain the complexity of social media ecosystems.   • Requirement analysis, design and development of scalable web and mobile applications and services
  • Different integration approaches and techniques for bridging web and mobile applications
  • Prototype implementation and deployment of the scalable web and mobile applications in production environments.

In this course you will gain knowledge about concepts, principles, methods and techniques, required for the design, analysis, and maintenance of large and scalable web and mobile application and services. The knowledge and skills gained in this course will enable you to identify and formulate architectural solutions best suited to the context and the purpose of the web and mobile applications.

The aim of this course is to provide students with theory, practical knowledge, and skills that are required for the design and production of digital games and entertainment across different mobile devices and technologies.
